The EeStairs Design competition has been created to shine a light on the very best young designers in the world and celebrate the evolution of architecture, interior and product design. No longer is staircase design simply about function, it has progressed into the creation of groundbreaking designs, use of innovative materials and environments capable of encouraging users to engage with their surroundings.

With this in mind the EeStairs Design Competition invited entrants to trace the evolution of design by creating staircases and balustrades that will help tell a story and orchestrate a wonderful journey between the spaces that they connect, or even separate. EeStairs is passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible and is looking for creations that reflect this.

And the nominees are...
The judges have had their say and we are delighted to present to you the shortlisted designs from each category on the page NOMINEES.

The deadline for voting has now closed. As of now the jury will combine the votes with their earlier results. The winners will be announced on Friday, March 4th on the page Winners. So keep an eye on the website and hopefully your favorite design will win this inaugural Design Competition.

The winners will be announced on March 4th, 2016. The winners in the two categories will be awarded a prize of £2,000 each.
