Eight 1m2™ staircases in one building

In Bunschoten-Spakenburg, EeStairs installed eight black 1m2™ staircases in eight first-floor apartments. On the floor plan (see below), the staircases are marked in orange. A special feature of this installation was that the compact steel stairs had to be hoisted through a small window — precision work with a crane in the courtyard.

The floor plan clearly shows how efficiently the available space has been used. Each apartment received its own 1m2™ staircase, allowing residents to make the most of their living area without compromising on design or functionality.

The video demonstrates how efficiently this process unfolded, from transport to installation. The staircases were fully powder-coated in RAL 9004 and installed one by one by the EeStairs team. Thanks to the lightweight design and smart mounting points, each staircase was aligned perfectly in a short time.

The footage shows how the stairs were carefully lifted and positioned inside the apartments. The compact form of the 1m2™ makes it ideal for small spaces without sacrificing comfort or appearance. Each component fits precisely, keeping the installation quick and clean.

The result reveals the distinctive 1m2™ shape, with the recessed baseplate subtly integrated into the floor — as if the staircase grows from the ground itself, adding to its sleek, modern character.
